Note: The black dial is identical to the previously released 126655 40mm full rose gold black dial. Since we’ve already conducted an authenticity comparison for that model, we won’t repeat it here. This comparison focuses specifically on the two-tone rose gold brown dial.

1. Due to the softbox lighting, the color difference on the brown dial appears somewhat significant, but under natural light, the similarity reaches
over 95%. A natural light comparison will be provided later.

2. The brown dial on the right is slightly lighter in color compared to the genuine article, Of course, a characteristic of sunburst dials is that they appear differently under various lighting conditions. To be precise, as long as the RGB color values are based on a standard, there won’t be significant overall deviation. Across all sunburst dials—such as the Submariner, various Datejust models, and this Yacht-Master—those featuring colored sunburst patterns all utilize the same PVD plating process as the genuine articles. The advantage is that it ensures the shipped color will not vary in tone due to different production batches. Additionally, the thin plating layer allows the sunburst pattern beneath to be clearly visible. However, this does come at a higher cost.

3. For this model, the bezel features PVD rose gold plating with an anti-fingerprint coating. The bezel material has also been upgraded from standard brass to stainless steel, which offers greater hardness than typical brass. We have spared no effort in both manufacturing and cost control.
