Although it features a bezel and strap, the manufacturing process is far from simple—particularly the numeric hour markers on the dial, which require precise shapes, moderate overall polishing, and the difficulty of applying luminescent material. This includes Rolex’s signature Mercedes-style diving hands. One could say the Explorer is an advanced version of the Oyster Perpetual, yet it lacks the flashiness of the Submariner. It is understated and refined—a watch with excellent collectible value. Its authenticity speaks for itself.
