The craftsmanship behind the openwork leaf-shaped hands is extremely intricate and entirely handcrafted. The openwork sections of the hour and minute hands are created through a cutting process that requires exceptional precision and years of expertise to achieve a single, flawless piece; the slightest misstep can ruin the entire effort. After cutting, the hands are affixed to a special support frame and meticulously ground and polished one by one.

Powering the watch’s complex functions is a robust “heart.” It successfully replicates all the functions of the Blancpain Cal. 5954 self-winding movement, ensuring exceptional reliability.
